Cheylene has been invited to attend a High School Credit earning Summer event with Earth Explore.Cheylene is an 11 year old young lady now and in her first year in a new Middle School here in Hatboro, PA. She has been an active Girl Scout for the last two years and has gained invaluable and unforgettable experiences from past outings with them. She has been an A student, which we will require her to maintain in order to attend this event. This program is by invitaion only and will only be available for her this coming summer. Tuition is $2, 495.00, Registration fee is $400.00 and the balance is due before April 1, 2001. She is attempting to raise the funds herself and would appreciate your $ support! When you were a kid

Day 1Overnight Salt Lake CityDepart gateway city. Arrive Salt Lake City. Transfer to local venue for challenge and teambuilding activities. Return to Salt Lake for hotel check-in and swimming. Evening overview. |
Day 2Overnight VernalTravel south along scenic Wasatch Front into dinosaur country. Morning stop and program at spectacular new Museum of Ancient Life. Lunch at Jurassic Cafe. Afternoon group departure for Vernal and the heart of America;s "Dinosaurland." Arrive Vernal. Hotel check-in and evening activity. |

Day 3Overnight VernalMorning departure for Dinosaur National Park and program at world famous "Carnegie" quarry. Overview and discussions hosted by park service paleontologists. Transfer to Native American petroglyph site for discussion of ancient rock art and its significance. Geology talk at spectacular Green River Canyon. Return to Vernal for free time activities. |
Day 4Overnight ThermopolisEarly morning departure for Thermopolis for Thermopolis via Flaming Gorge. Stops at Ft.Bridger for hands-on history program, and South Pass for discussion of Oregon Trail history. Late afternoon arrival in Thermopolis and hotel check-in. Dinner at park. Time for swimming/free time before evening meeting and overview of Dinosaur Dig program. |

Day 5Overnight ThermopolisTransfer to Wyoming Dinosaur Center. Tour of museum including viewing of Tyrannosaurus and other exhibits. Briefing then transfer to quarry site for day dig activities under guidance of geologists and paleontologists of WDC. Lunch on-site. Following dig, return to fossil lab for preparation overview and activities including casting. Return to hotel for swimming. Dinner and group activities at park. |
Day 6Overnight CodyMorning geology activity at Wyoming Dinosaur Center followed by visit to historic Thermopolis Hot Springs and Star Plunge water park. Afternoon visit to Legend Rock Petroglyphs then transfer to Cody, gateway to Yellowstone and the heart of Buffalo Bill country. Hotel check-in followed by dinner and arrival at Cody Nite Rodeo for Rollicking Western rodeo fun. Return to hotel late evening. |

Day 7Overnight CodyFull day of activities in Cody, town named after Buffalo Bill Cody. Half day visit to world famous Buffalo Bill Historical Center for hands-on program on western exploration, frontier life an Native American cultures. Lunch in park. Afternoon free time activities include shopping, gunfight re-enactment, and exploration of historic Cody. |
Day 8Overnight Guest RanchMorning transfer to Shoshone River for rafting orientation. Embark on historic and scenic rafting adventure in Shoshone River Canyon. Guides will explain the geology of the region and tales of frontier life along the river. Return trip by van to the starting point. Following lunch, afternoon transfer to mountain guest ranch for check-in and group activities, including nature hikes, wall climbing, trail rides, canoeing and challenge activities. |

Day 9Overnight BozemanMorning activities at guest ranch including wilderness hikes, trail rides and nature study. Good-bye to hosts and transfer to Bozeman via Yellowstone National Park. Afternoon picnic enroute. Arrival in Bozeman and hotel check in followed by evening group activity. |
Day 10Overnight YellowstoneMorning program at the Museum of the Rockies detailing significant dinosaur finds and natural history of the Rocky Mountain region. Planetarium show. Lunch at museum. Transfer to Headwaters of the Missouri for program on Lewis and Clark expedition. Afternoon return to Yellowstone via Yellowstone River an Mammoth Hot Springs. Stops for viewing of geothermal sites and brief hikes. Check-in at Roosevelt or Mammoth. |

Day 11Overnight YellowstoneFull day in Yellowstone National Park. Science program hosted by Yellowstone Institute focusing on ecology and natural history issues relating to Yellowstone. Hikes with naturalist and on-site hands-on learning activities. Bison, wolves and other endangered wildlife. Lodging at Roosevelt or Mammoth. |
Day 12Overnight JacksonMorning activities at Yellowstone Institute continue with program on biosystems, reintroduction of wolves and other topics. Transfer Inspiration Point for lunch, then to Norris and Old Faithful for viewing and walks in geyser basins. Evening transfer to Jackson and hotel check-in. |

Day 13Overnight Afton or EvanstonEarly departure for Grand Teton National Park and full-day program prepared by Teton Science School. Hikes and hands-on nature activities focused on mountain ecosystems and wildlife. Afternoon departure for Afton or Evanston. |
Day 14DepartureEarly Departure for historic Park City, then transfer to Salt Lake City and flight home. |
